Hi all

I need to change the battery in my sons Armani watch, I have ordered the battery from cousins uk but noticed a method of doing this and just wondered why you have to do this.

You have bought a pack of 10 batteries i suppose.

You do that to completely reset the Integrated circuit after being powered.

On occasion the multi-function (stop watch) wont work properly without the 'All Clear' reset.

Bad idea to buy batteries in bulk. Shelf life of only up to 2 years.

£4.20 hardly going to brake the bank :D

Instruction No. 2 in the first picture tells you exactly how to go about resetting the chronometer function! :D

Just be careful when using tweezers. They tend to scratch and if not careful cause damage...be gentle! I personally have a piece of wire for this but tweezers is what most people use.

I am going to use a bit of wire I think it will be more controlled by just dabing it on thanks bob.

Not about the £££ but about finding yourself with batteries that no longer work as they should emoji12.png

i told him to go to Timpsons buy 1 and keep the receipt and change batteries for life but they said they can't do it
