Battery change

Hi all

I need to change the battery in my sons Armani watch, I have ordered the battery from cousins uk but noticed a method of doing this and just wondered why you have to do this.

You have bought a pack of 10 batteries i suppose.

You do that to completely reset the Integrated circuit after being powered.

I think it is a re-set function.

On occasion the multi-function (stop watch) wont work properly without the 'All Clear' reset.

Thanks guys, so do you just link the two out with a bit of wire and dab it on for a second ?

I would say with a metal tweezer for 3 seconds.

Bad idea to buy batteries in bulk. Shelf life of only up to 2 years.

Not about the £££ but about finding yourself with batteries that no longer work as they should [emoji12]

Instruction No. 2 in the first picture tells you exactly how to go about resetting the chronometer function!

Just be careful when using tweezers. They tend to scratch and if not careful cause damage...be gentle! I personally have a piece of wire for this but tweezers is what most people use.

I am going to use a bit of wire I think it will be more controlled by just dabing it on thanks bob.

i told him to go to Timpsons buy 1 and keep the receipt and change batteries for life but they said they can't do it
