Who can make watch parts?

Hi all,

I'm looking for someone who actually makes watch parts such as balance staffs. We are a watch and clock repair shop in Hull, East Yorkshire and we often get watches that we cant repair because of obsolete parts. The person who usually would make us these parts can no longer do it because of failing sight. Can you do this, or know anyone that can? preferably for the trade.

I can't anymore my sight loss due to diabetes put pay to that. Have you tried the B H I if not drop them a line they should be able to put you in touch with someone.

Hi oldhippy, i havent tried anywhere just yet, this is my first port of call,i'll see what response i get and if no luck then ill give them a try.
