The Date Plate And Wheel Of Tag Heur Come Off Try To Glue Back !!!

I did dissemble my Tag Heur to clean up and the plate of the date come of the wheel beneath the plate I saw they used the glue to stick together . I try to use the crazyed glue to stick back but they wont stick !!!. I try to use the GS hypo cement it does not work either . I dont know what kind of glue they used for it . could you help me !!!

If you can find the movement number, you can buy a new one (how expensive can they possibly be?)

As an alternative, try epoxy.

That is weird, I would have thought they would have done something else, like "rivet" it to the other wheel....maybe you can to that with a staking tool?

i agree with bobm12, i wouldnt of expected glue (unless the watch was maybe a replica)?

I am surprised they used glue. However the glue that will stick anything is JB Weld it dries black but for hidden parts is sticks real good BUT a real B*gger to shift when dry.

there is not a chance in the world that those are tag parts.

on the upside clockboy is correct, JB weld will work.

make sure the parts are clean, grease free, and rough up the surfaces a bit to get a good bond.

get the alignment right the first time because as stated above it is pretty permanent.

i think dalarry is right. there shouldn't be any glue in a tag watch.
