I have a ETA 2836-2 movement that I need to service. I need a step by step tutorial on this movement in order to learn how to take it apart and assemble it back together. Could someone please help me? Thanks in advance for any help given.

I believe we have a 2824 and a 2840 walk through...they are the same family and almost the same. Those can get you started in the meantime I believe. Take lots of pictures and don't miss a step so you have a reference to go back to.

Cheers,

If you're interested the TimeZone Watch School uses this exact movement for their level 2 course. I think they do a pretty good job of explaining things - it isn't just photos. Of course, it costs $75 US...

Don't ask me how I know this,

Dave
