Hiya everyone, time for my second post. I have recently purchased a Rotary Viscount Incabloc circa 1962 with a receipt dated 1962 and box! The watch was in quite remarkable condition apart from intermittent running and a heavily worn bracelet which is an excalibur expandable one, I subsequently polished it up and re-plated it with 24k gold and also polished any scratches out of the glass, I then took the back off and found the movement had a couple of tiny hairs in it which I removed and hey presto it seemed to cure it. Problem is I went to put the back on using my watch press and snap! I broke the winding stem!

I can't find a calibre number as I was going to buy a donor movement off ebay. Does anyone know it or would it be plausible to use a watch extender?

Even better still can I just buy one?

Thanks,

Andy.

If there is any thread left on the old stem and it haven't  broke next to the crown. It would be just fine to use a stem extender.
