Hello from Cambridge UK

Hi

I am a recently retired electronic engineer who originally got into engineering because I have always loved taking things apart to see how they work. Now I have a bit more time on my hands, I have decided to take the plunge and try to repair an old watch that has been sitting in a drawer for years. How hard can it be? Now that I have started working with such tiny mechanisms, I'm not yet sure whether this will be the start of a new hobby or an exercise in frustrating futility!
