No, the watch at the picture has nothing to do, it was just close and waiting for repair. It is french verge 1/4 repeater from about 1800. The escape wheel is from IWC cal 1.917 (as I was told) -

A lot of these companies will not guarantee work on old watches. Don't get out what one just tells you. If you are able to remove the back and take some photos of the movement and the dial it will be easier for us to advise you. Nearly forgot. An extremely skilful repair. Just look at the balance cock having all that piercing out. Do you know the date of the watch.
