My Own Website - Mainly For Musicians

Recommended Posts

Well, I thought I'd take advantage of Mark's comfy new lounge, settle into a chair, and introduce my own website:

http://www.willflyguitar.com/

I've been playing for 50 years and music is a major part of my life - when it's not watches, of course! So, if you play music, or just like music, you might find something to interest you -and it's all free!

I'm sure you've also noticed, from Mark's earlier videos, that he plays some very nice piano - anyone else strum, blow, pick, bang...?

Nice one Will.

I actually cracked out my guitars this week as my son said he wanted to learn. So I was teaching him a few things and at the same time trying not to let on that my fingers were in pain lol. I haven't played for over a year and so the leather that used to be my finger tips is now baby soft.

Still it was good to play again - I missed it.

A friend of mine has invited me to accompany him to a song writers evening in Grimsby this Monday so I am looking forward to that.

BTW - I watched your latest vid last night and loved it - well done. For anybody who has not seen Wills Youtube channel yet, check it out as he really is amazing: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPG3dUiZm8-2ZSSq5YfqSPA

Thats a very interesting website Will and it's good of you to take the trouble to pass on what you have learnt,  much easier to learn from an expert, than the hard way.

Not having any musical ability myself, I am in awe of people who do.  I still entertain hopes of becoming a drummer (even though I do not own a drum kit) and dream of becoming the next Don Henley. Anyone willing to offer free or very cheap lessons in North Wales please get in touch.

Excellent - how old is your son, by the way? I didn't start playing until I was 20 - so the younger the better.

Excellent website Will.

I retired in September last year and bought myself a six string guitar, so apart from refurbishing watches, I have been attempting to learn how to play Blues. Up to now I have had more success with the watches, but I am slowly getting there with the guitar. I'll definitely be visiting your website now that I know it exists.
