Hello one and all,

To start, thank you all in advance.   I am new to the hobby of watch collecting/repair.  My father had his colleciton for years, and had started to focus on clocks more then watches, so I borrowed some of his tools and scrap movements, and was hooked.  Now after 4 years he has dabbled back into it, and helping me get the gear I need.

I recently got some movements off ebay, as a lot that need some work. so in the coming months begins the hunt for parts and pieces.

I love the detail and work it went into making these wonderful pieces.

Hello andycfair and welcome to the forum. I'm a qualified watch/clockmaker but have been retired for many years, if I can help in any way with clocks just ask.

Hello Andy,

Welcome to the forum, I personally am a "tinkerer" not one of the pro's and with the help of others on this forum have managed a fair degree of success with repairs and servicing. I feel sure you will find the same if you get stuck.

Look forward to hearing of your trials, tribulations and successes

Cheers,

Vic
