Hi all,

I have recently bought this clock from a 2nd hand shop and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this clock and the history behind it.  The tag on the back shows 'R. Humphreys, Practical watch and clock maker, 24 High Street, Highgate, N6.  The back cover is also stamped '12 Sept 1928' There is a number stamped on the back '27267' and the number '14' at the 6 o'clock mark on the mechanism as well.

Any information would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks

Possibly as transporter said but round clocks were made by other makers including smiths,  best to get it out of the case for a closer look   It has the numberv stamped on the back plate along with the pendulum length..

I need to see a clear photo of the back plate and the wheels between the two plates. I don't think for one minute that is its original pendulum. The dial is enamel, the hands are in the style called  Fleur De Lys
