Maker ID help please

Hi guys hope all is well, I’m working on a customers clock. Wall clock striking movement.

makers mark is a clock dial with a bear above it. I think it’s a bear it’s pretty faint. 
mill try and post a picture shortly.

Hi Have you got a picture of thr mark  Urgos uses the clock dial logo.  you could use "mikrolisk" site to look up the trademark.

Yes brilliant site but difficult to use on an iPhone though. And I’ve put in all the relevant search criteria and nothing has come back so far.

It is most definitely German. Still looking for the I D pity the writing is a poor stamp.

Was going German myself, it’s nothing special but I just like to give customers a quick write up of their clocks as part of the service, I too will keep looking

I can't find anything in my books or PDF files I have on German makers ID

In the logo image, the hour hand would indicate 3:30, but the minute hand is about 7 minutes after.  One would think a quality maker would be more precise with their logo.

Found it, it’s F&C Hassig

Well done. Where did you find it? I know what you mean when you say you like to tell the customers about there clocks. I did valuations so as much information was needed.

I found it on a site called Mikrolist, another poster mentioned it, I had a look in my laptop and found it easier to use than on the iPhone.

Yes that’s the one, I think we found it about the same time, can’t actually find out much about them though apart from what you have posted which is the same amount of Information that I can find at the moment

Yes Mikrolisk is the go to for finding  makers logos although it can be time consuming. I too have found nothing other than the mikrolisk, the only other mention was by NAWCC site bt little information other then where he was based.

I looked on that one yesterday, I went through loads of letters even the ? and * never got round to letter F
