Beginner! What type of clock movement is this?

Hi all I recently purchased this desk clock in need of repair. I’m a complete beginner at this so I’m not sure what I’ll need or if it even can be repaired. Here is a link to the ebay post with pictures

There is a starter knob and a time setting knob and a rectangle brown thing in the back that says ACME.

Any advice would be much appreciated

This is what I could find out about Lux Clocks on the internet.

This doesn't appear to be an alarm clock as there is no alarm setting knob or indicator.

This is not a good start. If you are going to start repairing clocks then start with the simplest a 30 hour alarm clock

The one you have chosen is a electric timepiece as someone has said you turn the nob on the back to get it to start. No mainspring as it works on eccentricity. What is missing beside the flex is just a nut that helps to keep the back in place.
