Gubelin Art Deco clock

Hi

 

it appears my Gubelin clock has a bad balance spring it appears to be 1920s 1930s

 

my local clock maker said no parts avail 

 

is there’s someone that can replace this or make one ?  Price ?

If it is the balance staff that needs replacing then a new one can be made but if it needs a new balance hairspring it will be difficult to find a replacement.

If you could take good close up photos of of the balance mounted in the movement and another with it removed and showing the balance it will make it easier for us to advise what repairs it needs.

Hi  as mentioned by OH photos would be great (in close up)  Balance springs don't usually wear out balance staffs wear and break so we need to see it.
