Need Help Identifying Quartz Movement

Hi All,

   I was asked to repair a Lord Elgin yesterday. I thought it would be a simple movement exchange however I can't figure out what this movement is. There is a small F on the upper part of the movement and the numbers 8557 on the plate. The battery does seem upside down however the battery clamp is marked - and the insulator under the battery is marked +. Anyone have any ideas I would appreciate it as I just don't know a lot about these quartz watches.

Are there any other numbers under the battery isolator ?

Hi,

   I just took battery out and checked under the insulator. There are no marks or numbers of any sort.

  Aloha , I did some searching under Elgin Quartz , Elgin Japan Quartz 8557 , etc ....no bingo . Try asking on the attached site .  I am working on a Ronda movement right now and found the very hard to see number on the plastic plate . If it's a Japan quartz then better than a 50/50 chance it's a Miyota or Hattori or one of the sub brands .
