So just for the fun of it I bought this reading machine at a local on line auction for $30.  Turned out better then I had hoped. It has zoom and auto focus.  Plenty of room to work with tools and it's not backwards like a microscope.  There is a quarter on the bottom left of the monitor for scale. Maybe tomorrow I try to work under it.

All I have is an old B&L stereo scope that dissent even have a diopter adjustment!

I should put it to use and see if it’s worth the $26 n change I paid for it...

That looks like a solid win! I need to find something better than my clip-on loupes... I've realized it's a pretty serious limitation.

$30 is a helluva deal too... I just checked eBay: $1K+
