Here we have some pictures of the Venus 178 chronograph movement which is on a vintage Breitling Navitimer. This watch had a broken mainspring and required a full strip-down and rebuild in order to fit it.

That certainly cleaned up beautifully, Mark. Are mainsprings for these movements fairly straightforward to come by?

A very nice movement,  shame to hide it away inside a case.  A chronograph would be beyond my skills,  I could take it apart alright, whether it ever ran again would be doubtful.

Yes - no problem at the moment.
