Rolex 3235 Movement balance wheel half turn issue! Help needed buguiner!

Hello to everyone! My first post ever here! 
 

I would like to kick off by saying I’m glad I’m here and I have been watching YouTube videos made by WatchRepair! 
 

My name is Stan and I’m trying to get in watch repairs and would love to build my own shop to do this as my life business! And I started by going in to Rolex so I bought an post car crash totally destroyed Rolex submariner 2022 126610LN case was bend and cracked, crystal was smashed glass on inside date wheel and dial which was beyond repair missing hands and broken strap with missing clasp! Total mess AD Rolex at Stratford and in Sheperds and Bush Westfield advised wheel just buy new watch! As also it did have water damage! Sounds crazy threatening haha but hey my life is to sweet so I wanted trouble on my head! Could not keep out of it! Won the bids and watch was shipped from Netherlands crazy part paid 780£ with customs another 90£ approx to be released to me from DHL! 
 

Now fast forward bought loads of parts and genuine parts along with aftermarket to keep within reasonable costs! Most genuine parts are new except few that are original from the watch some light rusting was on automatic movement but managed to clear most just few bright orange spots but hey better than it was! 
 

Now balance wheel the hair spring and bridge and palet fork and escape wheel brand new extremely expensive around 1900£ for those parts as had no choice! Now all assembled on aftermarket service main plate with Rolex standards quality! Some movement minute wheels and gears are generic aftermarket, all automatic movement and all bridges are genuine original, same for barel and spring all original, date and date disk genuine! Has some of the most beautiful sound of changing date what a pice! 
 

now the issue after assembly and oiling the jewels with Moebius hp9104 and hp9010 and also with grece 8301 on some friction parts and on inside wall of barrel spring all was put together and I use spring winder tools I also have magnifying glasses and magnifying headset got loads of toys to make it work just don’t have the ultrasound cleaner and microscope sadly, all money went to this life project! 
 

so issue is that somehow my minute wheels would stock won’t move freely when fully assembled and same time for paper fork and escape wheel, and my balance wheel would only rotate half way it’s like there is something not allowing it to move! 
 

I have re visit watch movement 2 times and also checked under magnification all pins and pivots all in place and in great chape as I learned if something won’t move to not force as this can cause tension and brake something and that would be an crazy money lose! So I’m very patient and cautious! 
 

At this point need some help and guidance step by step! As still new in this and I did practice on a clone movement to make sure I know were is all and in process broken escape wheel on clone but again that is 78£ comparing to my now 4890£ 3235 movement!

So looking at this and researching and with help of a friend I believe my balance wheel jewel is in wrong position when installing balance and bridge on to main plate, need to find what is correct position to install properly this time!

success all good it was balance wheel jewel in wrong position! Watch is now fully working!!

The roller jewel should be aimed right at the pallet fork center (at its hole jewel) with no power on the watch. Eyeballing your photos that does seem to be the case. Does the balance oscillate freely with the fork out? If you rotate it 90 degrees and release it, does it oscillate for a good while (like 20+ seconds)? If not, check your endshake, which is easily adjustable on this caliber.

 

With the balance and fork out, everything else in, if you put a few clicks (like 2 or 3) of wind, does the train spin freely? If not, figure out why, and correct it.

With the balance out, everything else in, fork in, just a few clicks of power, does the the fork snap cleanly from banking to banking with a slight nudge? If not, figure out why.

 

With everything in, no power (fully unwound), does the balance swing freely? If not, you may have a height issue with the fork.

 

Generally it's good to practice on a number of less expensive movements before moving on to something high-grade like this. When learning, you will break and lose things, and the cost of parts is far less.

 

In your pics, you have the train bridge off and fork in, when you put the train bridge on you want the fork out to help check for freedom as you fit it in place. The escape wheel can also get caught under or over a pallet jewel leading to damage.

@nickelsilver Has given you really good instructions for checking for End shake problems. If we had the service guide you would find that Rolex is obsessed with end shake. If you start swapping out components especially anything resembling aftermarket you'll have to fit every single one and make sure that they actually do fit. Yes I know it's a Rolex is supposed to perfect but still things need to be adjusted in Rolex watches.

Great success guys, I only winded like 9 times the crown and for about now 4 and half hours is going beautifully I love my Rolex hehe so happy that managed to complete my build and rebuild my watch now proudly own 2022 submariner 126610LN! Tomorrow when I get my hands fitting tool I will get the dial and hands fit on movement and then last but not least is get all gaskets fitted and get all in the case and put straps in and take to the AD for them to regulate the accuracy as it supposed to get somewhere 1/2 sec per day so looking forward guys at Rolex to calibrate as it needs special tool for balance wheel wights to get them properly adjusted

Hi Stan, Do You know what is amplitude in different positions, rate in different positions, amplitude after 24 hours, movement over all performance... Do You believe that Rolex gays will just take You watch to 'calibrate' it and will not send You home to finish what You have started by Yourself?

Getting into watch repair and servicing is long journey. Tackling a Rolex without experience is really not a good idea. Fittings after market parts is another bad decision .Rolex genuine parts are always fractionally different to the aftermarket parts in terms of size and build quality.
