omega 283 mainspring

Hi

I have been collecting parts for this old 283 omega for a while now and i am now buying last piece. Its the mainspring.

Its non automatic and i have a new barrel drum and cover and new arbour (see pics} and i have found the mainspring needed on cousins

But which bridle?

Any advice gratefully excepted.

It should be whatever Cousins suggests. If there are options then you want a conventional “resilient hooking” which is the most common modern type.

It’s what they (generale ressorts) refer to as “normal” which is a “resilient hooking” as I mentioned previously.
