Hi  Thats a classic Frank and so is his electrical time keeping book, Donald De Carle's books on watch repair again classics. read and  enjoy.

Out of curiosity can someone recommend one single book that covers most (if not all) of the repairs for watches ? Would this be a candidate ?

I also have a copy of Practical Watch Repairing by Donald De Carle and from a beginner's perspective I think the Henry Fried volume is more comprehensive.  I throw it open to the more experienced members for their opinion...

    both books are good,     get more books.    when you become a "master mechanic"    sell um.   or save them for old age.  vin
