Hi. I'm Shabba. I've always loved watches, but haven't always been able to afford them.

My collection is modest. I have a fossil that my wife gifted me, an Invicta that I bought on a cruise ship on my 10th wedding anniversary, and my favorite, a Citizen Navihawk A/T that is my daily beater.

I frequent reddit, and came across a user who restores and sells vintage Soviet watches. There are some beautiful pieces made in the 60s, and you can get them super cheap, so I ordered 3 of them on ebay. I figure I'll start learning on them. Worst case, I ruin them, and I'm out a few bucks and learn something. Best case, I get 3 beautiful watches to add to my collection. 

I plan on leaning heavily on this forum to learn, and documenting and posting videos of my successes and failures, to hopefully help others.  Merry Christmas to you all.
