Made a click spring by hand. And made a video with all the issues I also had. Not a machinist but getting better.

Thanks. All parts can be made. Was my first of this type and did learn and will be a cleaner job next time.

Just to let you know, I found a crystal for the case and used a small piece of gorilla tape as the case back hinge; for now. Wish I could show a picture. Also, I regulated it to +15 sec per day and am letting it run until the morning. I may attack the hinge over the xmas break.
