Bergeon 6122 Trimming Tools

My son occasionally helps with house clearances. During a recent house clearance a box of watches was found (98% quartz crap) apart from a nice Casio & Seiko nothing of note, apart from at the bottom of the box was a box containing Bergeon 6122 tools. After some search on the net found that they are sold as Bergeon 6122 Trimming tools, tools for quartz trimming.

Has any of you guys any ideas what quartz trimming is !!

Hi Clockboy, I'm pretty sure it for adjusting the oscillator timing on quality movements that have adjustable trimpots. The tools should be antimagnetic.

Absolutely, they look like those "screwdrivers" used to adjust IF frequencies in electronic devices. Never seen those for watches before! Good find clockboy!

Nice find. Used for the trimmer adjustment on older circuit boards in order to adjust the frequency to effectively regulate the watch.
