Orient 46D40 part needed

Hi, all. Do any of you have or know where I can obtain a sliding pinion part #47 for an Orient 46D40 movement? I have looked all over the net and there doesn’t seem to be any movements or parts for this one for sale. This is a 21j auto multi year calendar model. I bought a brand new one several years back and was never able to set the hands on it and am just now getting around to tearing it down. The sliding pinion seems to be stripped internally, as the stem just turns freely within it when in the hand setting position and the stem looks fine. Steve

Do you mean this part? If so it is called a clutch wheel.

Looking in the Bestfit catalogue vol1 and 2 there are no compatible clutch wheels.  Your best bet is to keep looking on ebay. Some member on here might be able to help you if they have an old movement or even a spare.

You should take it apart. Maybe it's not the clutch wheel. Could be something else? Something easy to fix. The movement looks a lot like a Seiko. So maybe a part from a Seiko could fit? But don't know which.

Orient 46 used the 7 series instead of develop it's own movement.

Interesting. I may have to take apart an old Seiko tomorrow.
