  1. Hi all, so I've been thinking for a couple of months about creating a thread where all of us can share what we are repairing currently. So here it is! Mark maybe you might want to stick this thread so all of us fellow wrt can share what they are repairing? Feel free to post. Anyways here's a couple of pic I took this year. Ellesse watch. Eta quartz Keyless work kaput, friend ask me to service the watch too. Citizen miyota 8200 movement. Bought this used watch and it doesn't work. And it missing a caseback glass too. So while I was servicing the movement, found out there's bits of glass fragment in the movement so i assumed the caseback glass had shattered and therefore causes the watch to stop. Eta 2836 movement. Water damage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Notice that somebody broke a screw on this one and replaced it with a bodge up... It seems the screw hole (a steel insert) has been removed and the screw was driven into the brass plate - oh joy. Not sure if I will ever find a new steel insert. May have to make do as best as I can. Broken mainspring. Notice how it is coned up due to being fitted badly by hand...

  4. Mick, the train side plates etc are identical . The engravings or the dial side are the only differences I know of.

  6. Best feeling... 'the click as the last pivot falls into place' Worst feeling... 'the click as you tighten down the train bridge screw (means you've broken a pivot)' 'the 'oooHH sh!t' feeling when the watch you're working on hits your lap on the way to the floor' Anil
