Not that I've tried much but, believe it or not, I have never won a vintage Timex Minnie Mouse watch.  Now the other day I spot NOS dials being sold with a buy it now option.

I place an offer and about 10 minutes latter it gets accepted.  So I look around the bench for a case and sure enough there is the correct case from a 1972 Mercury I just

took the movement out of for another project.   The next issue is now I need a working #24 non sweep movement.  That I already know I don't have any NOS in spares and try my luck in the parts movement bind.  Yes, two in there but one has a wobbling balance and the other is only missing the set lever.  After a service and a few days of observation it looks good to now.

For a final touch I install a genuine Timex deployment band.
