Hi. Just a wee hello from myself. I am very much an amateur repairer but have loved watches and everything to do with them for many years. I had gotten away from repairing / restoring when the kids were young but the urge was always with me and I have recently stocked up on my tools and looked out all me biits and pieces.

When i was younger - I'm nearly 60 now - there was no internet and any learining was by trial and error or books. What a change now. Access to knowledge almost anywhere - if you take the time to look. And thank you Youtube - where have you been all my life?

I am so looking forward to making new friens on the WWW - whilst I always help where I can I have every intention of soaking up evry bit of knowledge anyone has to offer.

All the best to all,

Colin

Hi Colin, thanks for a great introduction and welcome to this house of horology. I to am an keen ametuer in the field of watch repair and find it a great hobby now that I have taken early retirement. There are lots of knowledgable and friendly folk on here always willing to help and have a bit of banter.

Hello Colin and welcome. All I can say is you have come to the right place. I am a hobbyist tinkerer and have received loads of help here and got a not inconsiderable number of laughs on the way.

Cheers, Vic
