I have a Seiko Quartz Alarm, movement No. 7223A - 6000R which is not working but in lovely condition.

I've been looking for a replacement movement of the correct type for over a year but now realise that I'm not going to get one.

Thinking to remove the movement and replace it with a new one with just time, date, or date and month.

Can anyone advise me whether this is possible and if so the No. of the correct movement to use.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

There is usually a Hattori movement that is the same as the seiko movement. Have you checked if the 7123 movement works . Maybe the parts from that would work in a 7223?
