Part of my father's expanding collection, this pocket watch is known to be UK issued and military due to its broad arrow stamp.  However, we cannot trace the serial number and know it should relate to a military division.

Can anyone she'd any light?

It's not the MOD serial and part number for the watch is it?

My eye magnifier has the arrow symbol and 6C/152 under it which is the serial and part number which would of been used to order it from supplies

It certainly could be but on others the Two Letters would denote branches like "artillery" or "infantry"

you can look up the Elgin serial number at the link below. Then if you go searching online you can find other examples of Elgin watches with TK on the back. The numbers appear to actually be a serial number then TK may actually be T. K. if you look up British military designations TK  comes up as tank. But searching for tank watches comes up with basically nothing.
