 I joined here a while back but I`ve not been active.

 

Anyone who goes on TZ UK will know who I am. I`m a collector (old Omegas) and part-time repairer/restorer. After taking early retirement in 2010 (aged 52) I did some training at the BHI and started working on watches alongside other hobbies/activities. I`m still primarily a collector at heart, always on the lookout for nice old watches. I like steel and gold smaller dress watches (34mm Omegas are my thing) and I don`t get involved with vintage sports watches such as Speedmasters or Rolex subs. Not too keen on old chronographs either, mainly because they're a pain to fix (and they always seem to need something doing).

I'm a little jealous, too, as I'm likely to be taking late retirement

Welcome from me as well, I like the old omega bumpers and older watches generally. Look forward to your postings.
