I have an Omega bumper with a 351 movement. The winding stem is broken a few mm's below where the crown would have been. Two things: One, even though I unscrewed the setting lever (first a few turns, then all the way), the remaining winding stem will not come out, therefore I cannot remove the movement from the case; and two, I can't seem to figure out how to order the part. Thank you in advance.

Gregg.

nice watch !  you know if the set lever screw   is out all the way,  its a "dial off"  to re-set it.  don't worry,  we will help you get that stem out.   first,  look for any signs of rust in that stem exposed area.  later vinn

It should come out, unless it's rusted in. If it is, you'll need to take the watch out of the case, and remove the hands and dial, to see what's going on.

Also, the movement comes out the front I believe...

Ahh...I haven't tried taking the movement out from the front; once it's out of the case, I should have no problem getting out the stem. I'll have to look at this tonight. Thanks. Anyone know how to figure out the part number and how to order the part???
