Stem for 6309

Recommended Posts

Hello all

I am in need of a stem for a Seiko 6309. The part number is 354601. The Seiko 5 I am restoring had a big dent in the crown but is a one piece. I have a NOS crown, but it's a screw on. I have called all the suppliers I know in the US and checked eBay. EBay has one for $15 plus ship!

Any other suggestions?

i believe a 6319 will work also. it is a derivative of the 6309. as is a 6306 and 6308 - if you can find them.

i'm not sure of what you mean by a screw on crown. they all are.

i have two of them, but they are a bit short to use. they might need a stem extension. it's yours for postage.

i'm confused. it sounds like the OP has a two piece, screw down diver's crown and stem, but he needs one to fit a seiko 5 that he's restoring. the diver won't work.

clear it up, please, OP

Let me clarify. This is not a 6309 diver. It is a vintage Seiko 5 7309-8900. It has a 1 piece non screw down crown that has an o-ring on the stem section. I have a replacement crown which accepts a tapped stem. This new crown has a Seiko part number. The part number above is a Seiko part number for the stem only sans crown. Not a 1-piece stem and crown combo.
