I am a watch beginner for sure.i found it in my grandfathers stuff after he passed.I knew from the brand that it was a quality watch.I set the day date and time got her running and a few days later i thought the glass was broken.It wasnt.It was the second hand that had fallen off.Is this worth fixing.

In my option yes. If you have not serviced a watch before seek out a reputable watch repairer.

Omega watches are very good and quite expensive. Most defiantly have it repaired, its more then likely a gold case as well.
