The part shown is for a Seiko 6139 Chrono and it arrived in pieces. When assembled, is the top small ring that fits over the bearings a friction fit or do you glue it?

Personally I have never been able to effectively repair a ball bearing assembly.

I did snap it together by laying in on the bottom on a shallow flat bottom cup and then laying in each very very small bearing into the small opening and onto the first washer that has groves to hold the bearing. Then I took the second washed and placed it in the Center and pushed down with my thumb . The second picture is the result. I just don't know it it will stay together because I don't know if it is a friction fit Orr if there is an adhesive involved. Man the bearings were small. The size on the head of my sharpest tweeter

I am hoping that the counter weight, once in place, will help hold the friction fit top plate of the bearing part of the frame that I put together. I do have another coming in the mail. This weekend will be the reassemble and oiling of the 6139. If it works well I will feel real success in the up hill knowledge gain.
