Without looking any further the first thing I'd say is the strap, or at least the end pieces looks right.

Edit

Have you got a photo of the movement and inside the case back.

I'm not familiar with this model. I agree with @AndyGSi that the strap and end pieces look OK.

I'm not so sure about the spacing in the writing on the back. The 'V' isn't spaced correctly.

I never buy a watch unless I get some good pics of the movement.

I agree with @mikepilk that the back doesn't look right.

Edit

Dial text looks wrong also.

But could be a lot newer model but the movement and case back would answer that.

It might be OK as the writing on originals is a bit uneven. Look at the 'N' s in your pic @AndyGSi. And here's a genuine one I recently had - with 'N's are wonky too !

We need to see the movement

It was more the punched text as opposed to the detail I was looking at but I see what you're saying.

If it is genuine then it's going to be late 70s at the earliest.

Edit

I was 50/50 until seeing this which now makes me believe it's a fake.

Key point to me are markers are too far from edge of dial.

Thanks guys for your help.If I can get a pic of the movement I will post it but the guy has no tool to remove the case back and it's a distance purchase so possibly too much cash to risk it...
