Hi, new member from the UK here.

Only recently started buying old watches and trying to service/fix them. Some success, some struggles, I guess it's a familiar story.

Seem to have a thing for black dials and bullseye dials, also seem to lean towards pre 1950s watches.

Unsurprisingly the catalyst for me joining right now was last night admitting to myself I was lost on why my current project is playing up!

I just posted about it in the beginners section.

As for pics, this is what's currently confusing me

On a different note, be aware that this dial and hands look like they are packed with old radium. Less an issue when wearing it, but better take a few precautions when working on it.

I have 're lumed the dial and hands already

Hi Graeme and welcome! You will not find a more helpful or knowledgeable bunch anywhere.

I'm originally from Chesterfield and still have family there.
