im new to the fourm, i would consider myself new to watch repair, ive been working at it for about a year, just learning from any books i can find online, and of course the almightly youtube video.  ive been lucky enough to repair prolly 8-10 old pocket watches, mostly elgin, but im building up my collection with illanois now, i hope to get more and more complex pieces as i get my skills up.  happy to meet you, hope i dont do anything untwoards, i know fourms often have etiquette that is not written out.  plz feel free to correct me if i need to be, thx
