Cortebert railway watch

Recommended Posts

I have received my Cortebert, tomorrow I intend cleaning the case.  Servicing will have to wait a couple of weeks due to lack of time.  In the meantime, on the barrel bridge is cal 720, I can't see anything under the balance and looking up Cortebert 720 doesn't yield any results, any idea about the movement?

The bezel can be removed with my thumb nail, any way to tighten it or could it be glued.  If glued the glue would have to be weak enough to remove the bezel in the future.  Any ideas.

The watch is truly filthy

Cortebert has so many movements but I couldn’t confirm this one. Hard to imagine they used a movement from another house for a branded watch but…

… Apparently they did make a 17 jewel cal 720…I found another one…

Thanks, I can't find any information on the 720 that's why I wondered if it was a different movement.

A modified version of this?
