Oscillating weight hitting balance wheel??

I had a Mido last year that had this problem and I ended up replacing the weight and shaft it spun on.  Recently I serviced an automatic Hamilton Cal 64.  Rund fine on the bench but when I put it on the winder, it will lose 10-30 minutes in less than a day.  I think it is the same issue...oscillating weight.

Is this a common issue??

No. One was a Mido, the other a Hamilton (ETA)
