Hi Any movement of this type just isnt worth the time unless you want to have a go for training purposes, they just are not cost effective to repair   £14 to replace, no brainer.

Hi This attachement may be of some assistance in your rebuild.     cheers

Actually that's not the manual how to assemble, I have to place the remontoire (lever system) back. But this manual looks more like a blueprint or i'm wrong?

Also my boss told me to find the manual for him, so it's his business and he is not going to buy new mech 😄

Right I have found a assembly order but getting it on site is a Pratt but managed to print the sheet out where are you located. I will try to get it on the system again later if not I will try a scan and see if that works.  If you follow the link and use downloads you can then gain access to the techsheets for your watch (muscleman).

Hi try this one.

VX9JE (1).pdf

There are no Service manuals on these cheap movements and in some cases no tech sheets only drawings and spec sheets, probably due to the low cost throw away technology.

    • Hi, the cylinder is broken and I want to try to fix it. I don't have any specific tools, so how can I solve the problem? A new plataform or just the movement/pinion?
    • Personally i like to collect old iconic watches, so many made famous by films etc. Or unusual designs. That doesn't especially make them a great watch just a theme of collecting. You've mentioned the Willard, how about a genuine A 11 military watch.  Another iconic Seiko would be the Pogue space watch.  A Citizen bullhead ?.  A grand might even get you a Dirty Dozen, i dont know the availability of these in the US though, an A 11 is more appropriate for your country. Pre Swatch Omega Tissot or Longines , like Richard I'm not a fan of Swatch.
    • Sorry to repeat my question @316lad, but I'm really curious if you could elaborate on why you describe the movement as "a bit of rubbish". My main interest in watches is precisely their movements and so far I have a somewhat limited experience of the ETA movements and that is why I am so curious.  Thanks! 👍
    • Come on members please keep it friendly.  We all try to help. Just think before you start typing.  For what its worth I still say it is a fake the engraving on the back of the case is very amateurish a single word has different size lettering.
    • Looked up images of natural scenery of quetico park on internet, beautyyyful indeed, I guess no space left for spiders as the place must be crowded with tourists. LWS, we expect to see bigger catch on your future visits.
