Wanting to learn new things

Hi, I'm just getting started with watch making.  I never even considered it until I saw someone making a watch on a tv show.  I've been in the Navy for 20 years and am looking for something to do when I retire.  Right now I have a bunch of tools and parts in an Amazon box until I get a toolbox to keep everything in.  I'm already learning the hard way when it comes to watch making.  Hopefully I can find some help on this forum so I can stop losing all these tiny little parts.

Thank you for your introduction and welcome to this friendly forum.

We all look forward to your contributions and continued involvement.

When I first started repairing watches this was after learning about clocks. I spent many an hour on my hands and knees with a small brush sweeping the floor.🤣
