Movado 223C

i as working on a movado 223C calendomatic..it has the month wheel at ten and the day wheel at two...is there special way to line up the fingers or can they just be dropped in and set using the correctors...thanks

hi Jerry, I haven't worked on that particular watch, but the last triple date moonphase I worked on I just placed in the parts and set it with the correctors afterwards.

what concerns me is the tripping of the day.....the month I can manually adjust...it is getting the day to trip with the date change..i am afraid that the date will trip around mid-night and then the day with trip at some odd  time .....

Before fitting the hands, pull the stem to the time setting position. Now keep turning the stem until the day just changes and then fit the hands at the 12 o'clock position. You should be able to adjust the rest with the correctors and date date eating position on the stem.

If anyone has worked on this calibre, please pitch in, but this is my take on it.
