Rolwatco. Anyone know of these?

I picked this up and wondered what you think of it?  I've been able to find out that it was manufactured between 1922 and 1925 as that what when rolwatco was in existence.   I know nothing more and can't find any info on rolwatco anywhere.  It is a very simple but beautifully proportioned and if the date is correct,  carries a relatively modern aesthetic.

If anyone can fill me in I'd be very grateful.

Cheers Mike  it is a beautiful little watch. The crystal needs replaced, but I put it into a local watchmaker to repair and give it a going over. That post was the only source of info I could find. I really like the work on the bridges, it's not the best I've seen, but someone took the time to do it and that's what I like about old pieces like this. The wd rang my bell right away  but can't find any info on the 272. Perhaps the watchmaker will have more luck than me?

The name instantly makes me think rolex watch company. Quite a few swiss brands had this same name play years ago. Oris were renowned for it.

Of course, Rolwatco is short for Rolex Watch Company !

If you look here, you will see the same movement https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1922-ladies-d-rolwatco-rolex-9ct-515693522

Thanks mike, I've just seen the other names that rolex used that i hadnt heard of before. Very hand to know when finding collectables.
