Pusher stuck - Seiko chronograph 90s

Recommended Posts

Hi I have this from the 90s. The 8 o clock pusher is super stuck. I soaked it in wd40 for 2-3 days but it doesn't loosen up. I know from the other pushers that there were some surface rust. I have also tried to press it in but no movement.

Any idea?

Hi

If it's really don't move the only option I can see is to drill with a bit just a little wider than the tube itself and try very gently to destroy the tube until you reach the case itself.

you just need to destroy part after part of the tube but of course it's not an easy task, I also suggest to use a dremmel stabilized and not doing by hand because your hand will never be straight and you can damage the case itself.

Perhaps there is other options

Sometimes it's stuck with organic matter. Wetting it with water might work better than wd40.

A pendant tube remover can also be used for this job.
