There is nothing special in cleaning a metal bracelet, be it for a watch or anything else. Drop it in warm water with dish detergent and scrub it with a plastic brush. Some people buys ultrasonic tanks for this, but the end result is exactly the same.

I put it in my ultrasonic with old cleaning solution, looking great.  Leaving it in over night.  I've watched plenty of watch repair videos, where they scrub with peg wood first and then clean. Why not use old cleaning solution, rinse and finish in new? Still learning so I might be wrong.

I just use washing up liquid mate, open out the braclet and tie it open inside the ultra so the sonics can get inside to do the cleaning. Once finished and dried then buff up on a polish mop wheel. Should come up nice if the plating is good.

Plating worn in places but another thing to marvel at.  What a piece of engineering.

Morning mate. Plating thats just another thing to learn about watch repair. Apparently quite easy. Good for worn cases

I was wondering  from your title of this thread if you were referring to a different industry 🤔

Haha. Behave, my missus works for the police. I dont call them that but i dont have a great deal of faith in many of them or trust them for that matter i feel a negative police force rant coming on . I have some stories that would change people's views but wouldnt tell them here. I was thinking of a different industry but wouldnt discuss that here either lol
