Skagen dial and crystal repair...this looks challenging

My sister  in law sent this watch to me.  She told me a couple of the numbers had dislodged...I said it would be an easy fix.  LOL

My spacial geometry is not too shabby, this watch is not coming out the back!  Moreover, it will not succumb to a crystal lift!!

Grrrrr!!!

Is this one of those, pull the crown, seal the back and blow it out with 100 psi compressor watches??

Numbers and hour indicators fly out and possibly get lost when you blow the crystal out.  I try this  inside a plastic bag so to insure retriving all pieces.

OK, I got it off using the syringe technique.  WOW...what a pop.  Knocked more numbers off the dial in the process.

I need to order a crystal.

I measure 32.22 which seems strange.  Esslinger has 32.0 and 32.6.

You are five minutes too late!!!!  But you are dead right!  However, they were all easy to find except #8.  It was about 8 inches deep into my watch bench...but I found it!

Now I am off to find a crystal replacement.

These cartels irritate me.  They design these things to carve the independent craftsman out of the business IMHO.

Granted, it is a nice look.

Crystal size 32.22 mm is a standard.  I see no reason why it be rare or hard to find.

So far (and I am not done) I have found 32.2 or 32.3 but no more resolution than that.  The crystal I have removed is domed top flat bottom, but I am happy to find a flat top.

Make sure you don't put the 8 on upside down.
