I have recently picked up an old silver trench watch to tinker with, hopefully service and get working. To my surprise it is actually running and when opened it looks a very nice quality movement. However I am having difficulties identifying and was hoping one of the forum members may recognise it. I got a bit excited because to begin with I thought it may have been an early Breitling, but alas probably not. I have attached photo of the movement and a close up of the mark, which on first glance does look Breitling, but this has a wheel instead of the ‘B’ As always any assistance greatly appreciated.

From what I can gather the winged wheel was used by Rotary but there seems to be a lot of makers who used that particular styalised logo. needs further research to find the exact representation.

Thanks for reply watchweasol. Now you have pointed me in that direction I have discovered the case was sponsored by Sylvain Dreyfus who was Rotary. So that solved that one thank you very much
