Hi Gary  forund the attached on Ranfft.  The family gereration inclused the 200 series   ie  265.  checkout the attached 265 sheet against th Ranfft oictures.

I think he is search for Technical Instructions / Service Instructions instead of Parts List. Not sure if Omega 30T2 TIs are available. Like someone said before "Send email to Omega asking for something and they will start ignoring your request immediately." Something along those lines :-).

My advice to Gary would be to watch youtube videos on how-to service 30mm Omega movements. Some people produced fantastic videos.

hey

Thanks for replies.

I put this watch away a year ago until i had learned a bit about watches.

It is a early 1944 omega, I believe this to be correct as the movement number confirms it and they did not have the omega sign or caliber number on barrel bridge on the first hundred or so of the conveyor belt. Just 30T2 on plate.(see pics.)

It needs a center wheel and cannon pinion which i can get.

My problems start with all the calibers it is possible to be like 30T2,30T1, 30T2 pc etc.but i think i have nailed it to a base caliber 260.

The other problems are the balance staff and the jewel that is supposed to have a pivot or shaft on it to take the sub second hand.

I put balance staff for a omega 30T2 and it comes up with all the calibers i mentioned earlier so i dont know which one to order.

Also if i am right and the jewel in the plate were the seconds hand should attach should have a pivot or shaft to take the seconds hands it makes it a hell of a lot harder to to try and save it.

I dont know if a jewel from a similar model would be compatible with this movement????

As usual any advice or any mistakes i have made please let me know.

Also if you need more pics.

Congrats on "finding" the sub-second hand "thing". Must be frustrating to search for something that has not been installed yet ?

You need a non-Inca (plain) balance staff which is Ronda part 1858. I have them and can do them for a tenner posted if you want one.

Note that at some point someone has added a punch mark underneath where the balance cock attaches.
