Here's one of my newer acquisitions, a Ch F Tissot and Son 18s, key wind and key set in a Tissot silver case.

I am still researching the watch (any help is appreciated), but having issues finding any info on this particular movement.  My best guess right now is it's fairly early, possibly as early as late 1870s.

It runs, but definitely needs a service as it is not a very strong beat, and a close look shows it's fairly dirty.

@oldhippy Honestly, not certain.  The only mark I see is shown in image below (The A), and not really sure if that's a true hallmark or some other incidental mark (I don't know much about hallmarks).  It was listed as silver, but I'm inclined to think it is plated as I do see some signs of brassing  on hinge and pendant base..

Still nice though!

That is not an English hallmark. I found this on the net.

Tissot SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker. The company was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son, Charles-Émile Tissot, in 1853.

The case mark is for an American case makers called Courvoisier, Wilcox Mfg co they seem to have entered into an agreement with Tissot in the late 1800's to import Tissot movements and case them for the U.S market by 1905 Courvoisier where out of business and their assets where sold off.
