Venus 175 Project - Thoughts on this end stone?

Hi,

I've been working on a project watch with a Venus 175 movement. The watch was running, but I've found some surprises during the strip down. 

What are your thoughts on the end stone for the balance? What has caused the discolouration of the plate?

Someone has done something with that incabloc. Probably lost the lyre spring and glued it instead . You probably need to replace the incabloc unit . Plate should be okay. Doesn't look to good but should work fine.

Yes I think i will look into replacing the incabloc. Thanks for your input. There were other rusted and broken screws and the pallet cock was also glued down.

John, not sure why the images were not opening for you, may be the file type I used? My first time posting images here so could be something I've done on my end.

the problem is not all browsers know what to do with HEIC files JPEG would be a better option.

I can use infinate help and advice to see pic's posted on the forum, have had the problem eversince childhood.
