Hairspring not right

Hi

I needed a escape wheel for a omega 565 the one i had the shaft had broke at the top.

I managed to get a omega 562 donor i removed the aut0 wind and the train bridge and fitted it.

But now when i look at the spring on the balance it looks wrong and different from when i started. I have put some pics up (best i can do).

I have removed it and replaced it a few times and its the same.

When i let the spring dangle from the bridge it looks lob sided.

I have checked with the donor movement and the damn thing looks the same on that one.

Any ideas appreciated.

Sorry with my terminology, i am trying just not confident enough to use it.

And yes they both looked fine when i started and all i have done is remove the escape wheel from the donor and added the escape wheel to the other watch

You need to take it off the balance and lay it down on a bare balance cock and see how it aligns with the collet and upper jewel; as well, how does it ride along the regulator. If all aligns, non issues, if not, you need to manipulate the hairspring. Check out Marks videos on how this is done or YouTube to at least see the technique. This is not beginner stuff btw.

Guess I need another donor then. That's a bit above my ability. 

What's the chance of them both being bent.

This is the hairspring which now looks like a bird's nest, right? Here it looks like the outer coil is snagged on the inside of the boot and has been forced above the inner coils.

Can you get pictures of the one on the donor movement? One similar to this, and one in the plane of the spring. Then one of the balance and spring assembly separated from the cock.
